Founded in 2014, Marguerite Andrews Studio began in my mini closet-office nestled in the Pacific Northwest.

Let art be a  part  of your everyday.

My art is available as prints for your home, apartment, or office. I would love to see what you have done with it! Let me know by using #MargAndrewsArt on Instagram.

After many years of not finding work in the Landscape Architecture industry, I struggled to let go. In hindsight, I can see that was more meaning for me besides developing designs.  Sketching and painting have taken a new form as I learn watercolor and acrylic mediums.

I have found new life in regrouping my skills from Landscape Architecture as an artist by painting mostly landscapes and flowers, and illustrating traditional Southern and English gardens. You can see my work here.

about the aritst

"Where are you from?" This has always been the hardest question for me to answer. What can you say when you have lived all over the southeast? Let's just say that I am a southerner. My idea of getting dolled up is putting on mascara. I still wear skorts, and can cook a mean casserole for every occasion.

I am a Katherine Hepburn girl, as in I prefer pants over dresses. So you can understand my excitement about jumpsuits as acceptable wedding attire.

I am married. I probably won't talk about him much because he takes pride in having a tiny internet footprint. He is also a creative. We are both easily amused deep thinkers.

My areas of interest are: entertainment (books & music), business (I am self-employed), wellness (you know, the good healthy stuff for body mind and soul. Bet you didn't know I was a personal trainer for a bit? I am a terrible counter), and lifestyle (living slow, living with less).

For 2016, I am hoping to become a better cook, among other things. Or maybe just enjoy cooking more and not see it so much as a chore. Wine will be included in the process.

Also, after many years of waiting...I finally have a four-legged friend. His name is Willet. Also, also, Twizzlers count as an acceptable form of payment.
